Something is afoot

Something strange is going on at our house today. In the past few days, mom and dad have been saying goodbye to alot of their friends here in Austin. I did get to be part of the pictures and had a lot of fun out at the park.

My First Sleepover

I invited my friend Stella to come over and hang with me for a couple nights last week. Dad and Mom were gone, so it was perfect timing. Stella also brought her mom to come hang out. We went on a ton of walks and got to play in the house together. Stella is a lot smaller than me, but it is fun to chase her around the house. It was really fun except that she had to sleep in my old bed when her mom left. Aside from that, we had a great time! Here are some pics of us hanging out on the bed.

Happy Barkday

So, it was my birthday the other day. I turned 1 year old and my parents helped me celebrate by getting a delicious doggy cookie cake for me. My mom made me wear a stupid pink hat and a stupid pink bandanna that said "Birthday Girl," but I put up with it since it was my birthday.

The funniest part of the night was when I had enough of my cookie, I hid part of it for later. Then, in the middle of the night, I went to go get it, and brought it onto my parents' bed and ate it in bed. I don't think they even noticed until the next morning when they found a few crumbs that I had forgot to get. Oh well, it was so worth it!

The move and my new friends!

I've had so much fun out here in San Francisco so far. We live so close to a dog park that we can just walk right out the door and we're pretty much there. We also get to explore the city. We've been out to Crissy Field, Stern Grove, Point Isabel and Golden Gate Park. I've also had some time to spend with my Grandparents in the suburbs. I love their house because they have a huge yard for me to run around!

My roommates this summer, Sierra and Foster, have been awesome. We pretty much rule the house while everyone is at work. By the time everyone is home, we're pretty pooped. We all have dinner together, then it's usually off to bed for me! I'm still growing, though I have slowed down. I'm now 10 months old and weigh about 85 pounds! Can you believe it?

There was one weekend where my mom and dad were both out of town, so I had to go to Pet Camp. I didn't really like it. It was a little depressing since they were gone and we only got to go outside for about 2 hours a day. Mom and dad both got really upset about that, so we're not going there anymore. Next time they go out of town, I'm going to go to a ranch up in Santa Rosa, where we get to play from 7:00am until 10:00pm! I went up there to check it out earlier this week and I loved it! I'll post some pictures when dad has a chance to scan them in. In the meantime, here are some of me and my friends!

M.I.A.

Sorry it's been so long since I've written. I'm growing so fast, and meeting so many new friends that it's hard for me to get online and actually write about everything. Also, I had major surgery a couple weeks ago to take out my girl parts. I was a bit tired and sore after surgery, but I bounced back in a few days and now, I'm good as new!

I'm a little bigger now...actually...I lot bigger...

Last time I weighed in, I topped the scales at 67lbs! Can you believe it? I may have to call my friend Jenny Craig!

I Swam Today!

I finally got the nerve up to jump in and start swimming. It took me a little time, and my dad had to go out to the middle of the creek in order to show me it was ok, but I finally did it! It was so much fun. I got to meet tons of new friends and got to spend some time with my friend Riley.

Old Enough to Write

So, after spending the first 16 weeks of my life getting used to my surroundings, I thought it would be a good time to join the blog-o-sphere and publish. I'll recount some of my past few months, but will probably focus on recounting the life of a spoiled labradoodle.

Well, we can probably start with some pictures:

This is me when I first came home. I was a little overwhelmed by my surroundings, so I spent a lot of time hiding under the dining room table.

Can you believe I used to be this small? I'm about 3 times this size now!




This is what used to be my favorite toy. I used to carry my Loofa around everywhere. Unfortunately, I accidently tore his head off when I learned to do the "Death Shake." A little traumatizing, but I have better toys now.




I also have a bunch of friends that I like to play with. Here is me running around with my pal, Chloe.


Here I am with my friends Moxie and Maggie. They are a little older than me, but they let me play around and be a puppy.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I love to ride around in the car. This is a picture from when I got to sleep over at my nanna's house. It was so much fun!

I also got to play in the snow last week. I had so much fun. At first I was a little scared, since I didn't know why I was sliding around so much. But after a while, I had a blast!
